AridDek Waterproof Decking

Although AridDek does not require the monthly continual maintenance that other decking types require, a good hosing down every once in a while will help maintain the beauty of the deck. To ensure you enjoy AridDek's maintenance-free characteristics, make sure that you or your contractor follows the decking installation instructions, make sure that the deck slopes at least 1/8" per foot any water to flow out of its integrated gutter. Watering and sweeping your decking with a hard bristled broom from time to time is a good idea to ensure your deck looks like new for many years.

Stained / Soiled Areas

If you do run into a situation where your decking has become stained or soiled, we recommend applying a solution of one cup bleach per 2 gallons of water to the decking, scrubbing the soiled area with a hard bristled broom and then thoroughly rinsing the deck clean. This solution will work out most stains that you may encounter.

Note: To cover the decking as evenly as possible with the bleach solution we recommend using a bug or garden sprayer attachment found at your local hardware store. Do not use acidic solutions, harsh abrasives, cleaners containing abrasive ingredients, steel wool or other abrasive materials to clean the decking.
